Manufacture of thermoforming molds
Along with extrusion and injection, thermoforming is one of the major plastic transformation processes. However, unlike these two other types of processes, which use a raw material in the form of granules or powder, thermoforming is carried out from a board or sheet, i.e. a semi-product itself resulting from the extrusion of a raw material from granules or powder.
The thermoforming moulds produced at SIAF are mainly intended for the aeronautical and pharmaceutical sectors as well as for other industries.
